About this site
For Rugby Fans, by a Rugby Fan
This site was born from a simple problem: it is difficult to watch all the rugby that takes place on any given weekend.
You might have small kids, like me. You can have all the time in the world, and still not be able to watch all the rugby in all the leagues.
Why can't people just watch the games on YouTube?
YouTube is great. But finding all the games on YouTube takes a lot of time and searching. Jumping from league to league is awkward and difficult.
This site aims to make it easier for people from all around the world to watch their favourite teams, and some more that they would never likely have watched.
I truly believe more people would watch the videos if it was all in one place. That was my original problem.
Are these matches allowed to be showed online?
In short, yes. Great care has been taken to make sure that the videos shown here are from the official channels for the leagues.
For example, the highlights from the Pro 14 games are from the Pro 14 YouTube Channel.
The goal is to get more people watching the official highlights.
Unofficial, or illegally uploaded videos, will not be shown on this site.
Does "fair usage" apply?
All the videos here are only shown here because they are uploaded to YouTube by the official leagues themselves.
YouTube allows each video publisher to allow videos to be embedded on sites, like this one. Or not, it's up to the publisher.
We comply fully with YouTube's Terms of Service, so if a publisher decides to not allow a video in a certain country, or not to be embedded on other sites, we can't do anything about that. The power remains with the publishers.
How does this site make money?
In short, it doesn't. There's no immediate plans to make money.
The goal is to get more people watching rugby, and watching their favourite players, no matter what league they are in.
